The main campus is located in Havre and offers courses leading to degrees in engineering technologies, professional teacher education, business, nursing, and liberal arts leading to certificate, associate, baccalaureate and/or masters’ degrees. Courses and programs are also delivered in Great Falls at our sister institution, Great Falls College-MSU. MSUN emphasizes a range of learning delivery options and responds to the needs of a diverse student body.

The City of Havre is located in North Central Montana, the Big Sky Country, an area known for its outdoor recreational opportunities and wholesome lifestyle. Havre is surrounded by great high plains of grain stretching into Canada to the north, the enormous Fort Peck Lake to the east, the Bear’s Paw Mountains to the south, and the Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park to the west; there is a pristine environment in all directions.  Agri-business, retail stores, medical services, farming, ranching, railroad and education are the local economies.  Rail and air transportation are provided by Amtrak and Cape Air.  The metropolitan communities of Great Falls, Montana, 120 miles southwest, and Medicine Hat, Canada, 150 miles northwest, offer big city amenities.
