James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for this 10-month full-time appointment that will begin on August 24, 2022. The School of Nursing, housed within the College of Health and Behavioral Studies, offers CCNE accredited Baccalaureate, Masters, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice programs. Two or more years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner are required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for the position include clinical,
classroom, laboratory, research, and other teaching assignments in
the nurse practitioner programs. Professional, school and
university service, and scholarship are additional
expectations.
Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include the following: Minimum of
Masters or a Doctorate in nursing with two or more years of
experience as a family nurse practitioner (school health or
pediatric experience appreciated). Experience in teaching is
preferred. Other requirements include
current APRN certification as a nurse practitioner and
eligibility for Virginia nursing license. The faculty of the School
