Controller

 This position is responsible for all of the financial functions of the college.  It leads finance and student financial services for a five-campus college district. 
The span of control includes all financial functions: 
  (1) General Accounting, 
  (2) Payroll, AP, AR, Grants, Capital Projects Accounting, 
  (3) Fixed Assets, and Cashiering. 
  (4) Directs the preparation of all financial reports including: 
  (5) Annual Financial Report, 
  (6) Cost Analysis  
  (7) Special reports. 
  (8) Ensures a sound internal control system. 
  (9) Coordinates State, Federal and other external entity audits. 
(10) Leads and coordinates annual budget development for a consolidated college budget. 
(11) Partners with student services, financial aid, and other departments to meet student needs.
(12) Successfully implements all GASB requirements. 
(13) Responsible for the supervision, direction and evaluation of staff.
