Position Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate who is interested in participating in translational research (Bench to bedside) with prior experience in molecular biology or pharmacology to work in the field of drug transporters and identify how they contribute to variable patient outcome.

The lab focuses on therapeutics used in oncology and works with cell culture and animal models to study mechanisms regulating drug accumulation, efficacy and toxicity.

Job Duties:
  • Individual will be responsible for research work with cell culture, in vitro experimentation, and in vivo experimentation, as well as animal care and lab maintenance/documentation in support of lab
  • Training mentees and students in the lab environment
  • Producing scientific writing and data analysis from data generated in the lab

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D in Biology, Pharmacology or related field
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with animal handling
Experience with cell culture
