Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Urban Planning and Design (Ref. 508540), to commence as soon as possible, for a period of one year.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Urban Studies, Urban Planning, Housing Studies, Human Geography, Housing Economics, Public Policy or other related fields. They should have skills in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis and a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Preference will be given to those with publications in international journals, skills in advanced statistical analysis, spatial analysis, big data analytics, and the ability to conduct field work independently.
The appointee will join the Social Infrastructure for Equity and Wellbeing Lab (SIEW Lab) ( https://www.arch.hku.hk/researchcentre/social-infrastructure-for-equity-and-wellbeing/ ) to work on research projects related to housing, education, and urban studies, under the supervision of Professor Shenjing He.
