Description

The Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenure track part-time positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a year-long appointment can be made. Salary is dependent upon position and qualifications.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. or extensive professional/occupational experience relevant to political science is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Security sensitive position; background check conducted on applicant selected.
