Description

The Business, Government and Society (BGS) department in the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin seeks to teach future leaders how to recognize and respond to the legal, ethical, and social expectations that businesses face and will generate research to influence government regulation of business. BGS contributes to important public policy debates through the research of economists, legal scholars, business ethicists, political scientists, and other social scientists. The department often needs non tenure-track, or Professional faculty, for its teaching needs. The department invites applications for nontenure-track lecturer positions. Please note that positions are not available every semester and are contingent on funding.

Qualifications

Candidates should have at least a master's degree in the social sciences such as economics, law, ethics, political science. Practical business experience in the field is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to excel in the classroom. An established record of teaching excellence is desirable.
