Position Summary:
The Director for Dual Credit and K-12 Programs directs the team to meet the goals for EKU's dual credit and K-12 programs. The Director will facilitate the growth and sustainability of dual credit and K-12 programs through outreach and engagement in the community, region and state; identification and establishment of business and industry partnerships; and development and maintenance of relationships as an ambassador of the University. The position works with the Director of K-12 Programs to develop and support the department's mission and goals.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum Experience:
Two years related work experience required

Minimum Licensure and Certification:
Valid Kentucky driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to middle and high schools in the EKU service area

Qualification Equivalencies:


Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred

Counseling or advising experience in a high school preferred

Job Functions:
Develop and maintain relationships with K-12 stakeholders/organizations in Kentucky, including superintendents, principals, counselors, students, educational service providers, etc. Coordinate and lead in-person and virtual meetings with representatives
Provide support and academic advising services for dual credit students.
Plan and host information sessions for students and parents related to dual credit, college admissions, financial aid, and related topics.
Develop and implement K-12 Program market strategy to include identification of appropriate, marketing opportunities and promotion of opportunities for schools, teachers, and students
Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned.
