Job Summary:

Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Psychiatrist to join their Faculty Team! In this role, you will provide psychiatric care for a variety of patients principally in an inpatient environment; provide supervision and teaching of psychiatric residents, psychology interns and medical students; provide care across both inpatient and outpatient settings; service on appropriate department and medical school committees and participation in other department teaching.

Education:

Required
Terminal Degree
MD or DO required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Qualifications:

-At least two years of clinical experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders preferred.

-Rank on the Clinical Teacher (CT) track, a non-tenure track emphasizes excellence in clinical care. Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Professor rank requires experience and credentials that meet school-wide criteria for rank and review by the CT track promotions and appointments committee.

License/Certification:

Required
MD - Physician - State Licensure

Additional Information:

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
