Job Summary:

The Desk Services Coordinator manages the operations and staff of the UW-Madison residential desk services program. This includes overseeing the daily operations of Desk Services, planning for and responding to the needs of customers and the University, and providing onboarding, training, and supervision for Desk Services staff.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional event management experience required. Preference will be given to degrees in higher education, hospitality, event management, communications, or related field.

Qualifications:

- At least one year of post-bachelor's degree experience in hospitality or higher education required
- Experience supervising students required
- Experience working with Residence Hall Front Desk operations preferred
- Experience working within a university housing setting preferred

Additional Information:

Primary schedule is 7:45am - 4:30pm. Afterhours and weekend work will be required as operationally needed. Schedule alterations as operation and position expectations demand.

A criminal background check will be conducted on finalist(s).

This is a full-time, twelve-month appointment. The starting annual salary is $49,700 or higher based on qualifications and includes a competitive retirement and benefits package.
