Marketing Project Manager - University Marketing #605521

Northern Arizona University is seeking to hire two Marketing Project Managers at our Flagstaff campus location. Working as part of a highly collaborative marketing team, this role will support project management services to university clients and the marketing department in support of university strategic goals and client objectives.

Essential functions

• Helps to coordinate the scope, timeline, and budget of marketing projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinates with creative, digital, and client teams to ensure timely delivery that meets university quality and brand standards while achieving client objectives.

Responsibilities

• Helps to manage marketing-related projects.
• Collaborates with marketing colleagues, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to develop project plan, timeline, risk management, and other key elements for standard projects.
• Follows standard project management methodologies to manage scope, timing, and budget for marketing-related projects.
• Helps to ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.
• Conducts basic risk analyses and monitors the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
• Manages and updates project data to ensure access to accurate and timely information.
• Helps to monitor the health of assigned project portfolios.
• Helps to produce reports and communications that interpret information.
• Enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
• May contribute to unit- or department-level process or/and project-related system troubleshooting and optimization.
• May be responsible for monitoring a project budget and documenting project expenses.
• May be assigned other duties necessary for the effective functioning of the department.

 Minimum qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, AND
• One to two years of relevant experience (combination of marketing and project management), OR
• A combination of related education, experience, and training.
