Northern Arizona University is seeking to hire two Marketing Project Managers at our Flagstaff campus location. Working as part of a highly collaborative marketing team, this role will support project management services to university clients and the marketing department in support of university strategic goals and client objectives.
Essential functions
- Helps to coordinate the scope, timeline, and budget of marketing projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinates with creative, digital, and client teams to ensure timely delivery that meets university quality and brand standards while achieving client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Helps to manage marketing-related projects.
- Collaborates with marketing colleagues, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to develop project plan, timeline, risk management, and other key elements for standard projects.
- Follows standard project management methodologies to manage scope, timing, and budget for marketing-related projects.
- Helps to ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.
- Conducts basic risk analyses and monitors the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
- Manages and updates project data to ensure access to accurate and timely information.
- Helps to monitor the health of assigned project portfolios.
- Helps to produce reports and communications that interpret information.
- Enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
- May contribute to unit- or department-level process or/and project-related system troubleshooting and optimization.
- May be responsible for monitoring a project budget and documenting project expenses.
- May be assigned other duties necessary for the effective functioning of the department.
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, AND
- One to two years of relevant experience (combination of marketing and project management), OR
- A combination of related education, experience, and training.
