Executive Director of Enrollment Services

Montgomery County Community College invites
applications for the Executive Director of Enrollment
Services position. Reporting to the Associate Vice
President of Student Services, the Executive Director of Enrollment
Services provides College-wide strategic leadership and innovative
advancement of, and supervises daily operations and management for,
enrollment services including the integrated enrollment services
department, financial aid, records and registration, enrollment
operations and student services including application processing,
the welcome center and call center. The Executive Director of
Enrollment Services oversees improvements related to
cross-functional processes, enrollment and financial aid tracking
and reporting, and the implementation of new technology to improve
student services. The Executive Director of Enrollment Services
works collaboratively to ensure consistency of services across all
campuses and locations and provides support in the modification and
implementation of the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management
(SEM) plan. The Executive Director of Enrollment Services has
lead responsibility for setting, overseeing its successful
execution, and the monitoring and assessment of initiatives in
support of the College’s enrollment goals and strategic plan.
The Executive Director of Enrollment Services will work
collaboratively, and in coordination with the Associate Vice
President of Student Services, with College leadership team members
and colleagues to deliver positive service outcomes for the
College. The position has College-wide responsibilities and
requires travel between campuses and off-site locations.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Masters degree in higher education or business field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in higher education within the
student enrollment services field in a post-secondary institution
or related area, preferably in a community college setting,
including supervision of professional staff and budget
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to leadership
development as well as managing and developing all levels of
personnel in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced higher education
environment. Demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment
to collaboration. Demonstrated experience managing and leading a
team through change.
- Understanding of and passion for the community college
philosophy and mission.
- Extensive experience in a student services environment, and a
strong commitment to customer service with students, colleagues,
and community partners. A commitment to innovation and
student satisfaction in delivering services.
- Appreciation for and demonstrated commitment to diversity,
equity and inclusion.
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality related to
- Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing and
reporting statistical data to inform decision making and organize
presentations to individuals and groups.
- Experience in supporting grants, reporting and compliance
- Knowledge of comprehensive student databases and proficiency
with and in using technology, including Microsoft Office
applications, student information systems, CRM, email as well as
familiarity with federal, state, and intuitional aid programs and
