Job Summary:

The School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, at Fairleigh Dickinson University seeks a full-time faculty member to join our Online Master of Public Health Program. Candidates from all public health sub-specializations are welcomed to apply.

Master of Public Health Program is brand new online program, housed at the School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. The M.P.H. program offers four specializations/tracks: generalist, health analytics, health policy, and population health in addictions and recovery, and a PharmD/ MPH dual degree. The program’s focus is on interprofessional education through strong collaboration with other programs within the school, such as pharmacy, social work, occupational therapy and physician assistant.

The ideal candidate will have a background in public health, with focus on health policy, data science and informatics, or biostatistics. Preference will be given to an accomplished practitioner with a record of excellent teaching evaluations. The school seeks mid-career professional whose teaching, service and research reflect commitment to excellence in each area. Review of applications will begin on or about October 1, 2021.

The selected candidate will design and teach courses, mentor students, and serve as faculty member in our online graduate program.

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum M.P.H. degree or equivalent, preferred DrPH or a PhD in a health-related field from an accredited institution, with expertise in health analytics, health policy, and/or public health management.
2. Demonstrated
· skills and hands-on experience with teaching, including an interest in non-traditional teaching such as online, or certificate training, and experience with accreditation;
· Evidence of excellence in graduate teaching and mentoring;
· Ability to collaborate for teaching and research across disciplines, and an experience in interprofessional education;
3. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in leadership positions with ability to network with external stakeholders, build community relationships, and communicate through new media and other platforms.
4. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
