Gildart Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering ( GHSCSE ) seeks Adjunct Instructor to teach an undergraduate course in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing. The course is required for all students majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
Course description:
Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing
Concepts and methods of computer-aided design and manufacturing ( CAD / CAM ). Design, modeling and simulation. Solid modeling software. Introduction to finite element analysis. Part, assembly, and mechanism design. 3-D solids, surfaces, and models. 2-and 3-D drawings. Generating computer numerical control ( CNC ) sequences for CAM . Applications to Engineering Projects.
Required Qualifications:
Requirements – Master’s degree, preferably in an area of Engineering.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
