Assistant Professor of Psychology

Penn State Harrisburg, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, invites applications for a tenure-line appointment as an Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin in Fall 2022. A doctorate in clinical psychology and licensure or license eligibility as a psychologist are preferred. An active program of research with potential for external funding is required. Preference will be given to candidates with neuropsychological or forensic psychology expertise. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses, maintain an active research agenda, guide student research, and provide service. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate clinical courses and courses related to one's area of specialization. Applicants should have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching, along with a commitment to integrity, diversity, collaboration, and professional service. The Psychology Program at Penn State Harrisburg offers a BS in psychology and a graduate degree in Applied Clinical Psychology, which can fulfill the educational requirements for a licensure as a Master's-level therapist. The other graduate program that is under Social Sciences and Psychology is Applied Behavior Analysis.
