Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the Department of Philosophy in the College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.

Current opportunities include teaching the following courses for the Spring 2022 semester:

  • Introduction to Logic - face to face, Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10am-10:50am

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of M.A./M.S. in Philosophy, Linguistics, or Mathematics required
  • At least four semesters of teaching/TA experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to handle all situations in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Candidates must be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago.
