Part-Time Instructor - Aviation

Position Summary:
Teaches classes part-time for the Aviation program at Eastern Kentucky University. Primary responsibility is to teach Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to include history, typical application, applicable regulations, airspace requirements, aircraft airframe and powerplant systems, ground control systems and sensors. Additionally, provides insight into the necessary foundational skills necessary to safely operate UAS in the U.S Airspace.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Aviation or related field or at least three years work experience in aviation or unmanned aircraft system field. FAA Remote Pilot certificate Part 107

Desired Qualifications:
Collegiate-level teaching experience. Recent UAS operations and training experience
