Job Description:

The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to have a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to work with the RN-BSN Director to teach one or more nursing courses in our online RN to BSN program. These asynchronous courses are 7 weeks in length and run year round.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to deliver didactic or experiential instruction via multiple formats online. Candidates must have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team to provide a supportive learning environment to registered nurses seeking a baccalaureate degree. Candidates must be able to work independently and effectively interact with students, faculty, and administrators.

Qualified candidates will be contacted by the program director as courses become available.


Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of a graduate degree in Nursing
  • Current unencumbered PA RN license
  • Expertise in area of instruction
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal training or experience in online teaching and course development
