The Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine announces a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are seeking outstanding candidates with active research programs applying innovative multidisciplinary approaches, including models of animal/human disease and development to the study of physiology. We seek a researcher who will complement existing research activity colleagues within the Department (see https://vet.uga.edu/education/academic-departments/physiology-and-pharmacology/ for more information) and expand upon our current areas of excellence including reproductive physiology, neurophysiology and neurodegeneration as well as toxicology. The vibrant research community at the University of Georgia provides additional opportunities for collaborations with investigators in other Departments and Centers, including the Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute (http://bhsi.uga.edu), Bio-Imaging Research Center (https://birc.uga.edu), the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership (http://medicalpartnership.usg.edu; https://ctru.uga.edu/), Center for Molecular Medicine (http://cmm.uga.edu), and Regenerative Bioscience Center ( http://rbc.uga.edu ).
