We invite applications from Japanese language specialists with a commitment to undergraduate education. The successful candidate will have a strong interest and experience in teaching language in a proficiency-oriented and inclusive program. Teaching responsibilities will be at the beginning and intermediate levels in Japanese. Disciplinary specialization is open, and candidates will have the opportunity to work with students with varied academic interests. The normal teaching load is two courses per ten-week trimester.

Experience working with diverse populations of students and a commitment to teach successfully in a multicultural environment are expected.
