Description of the Job
The Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering is recruiting
for an adjunct faculty member (open rank) to teach a 3-credit
engineering course in Probabilistic Risk Assessment. Job duties
will include: preparing and delivering lectures; preparing and
assigning homework problems and exams; grading homework problems
and exams and assigning final course grades; holding office hours
and answering student questions
MS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. The
College of Engineering at VCU supports a diverse faculty, staff,

Excellent written and oral communications skills.
A minimum of five years of relevant academic experience.
