Coordinates the receipt, delivery and inventory of materials, supplies and equipment for Physical Plant departments.,
- Responds to departments concerning delivery dates, disposition of material and questions concerning the university's recycling program.
- Coordinates shipping arrangements with vendors, receives orders, resolves discrepancies with purchase requisitions, and arranges delivery to requesting department.
- Oversees workers engaged in delivering orders and collecting recyclable materials.
- Assist with conducting periodic and annual inventories; ensures accuracy of inventory categories.
- Assists the manager in the operation of the computerized fuel management system.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
High school and 3 years experience
Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
*Computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Word, Access
*Familiarity with data entry
*Attention to detail very important
*Requires ability to lift and move 25 pound boxes
*Maintain & organize the warehouse
*Operate pallet jacket to load, unload, place and reallocate merchandise
* Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience.
