Department Summary
The Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact (Knight Campus) is a billion-dollar initiative designed to fast-track scientific discoveries and the process of turning those discoveries into innovations that improve the quality of life for people in Oregon, the nation and beyond. The Knight Campus will reshape the higher education landscape in Oregon by training the next generations of scientists, forging tighter ties with industry and entrepreneurs, and creating new educational opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students.
Position Summary
The Knight Campus is seeking qualified applicants for its open postdoctoral scholar (postdoc) pool. Postdocs are limited duration, funding contingent appointments for one year with a possible annual renewal for up to two additional years. Postdocs conduct research under the direction of a Principal Investigator (PI) for the purpose of acquiring research training. The expectation is that the postdoc will conduct laboratory research, quantitative analysis, prepare manuscripts and grant applications, and present data and findings to internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.

- PhD in a field relevant to the PI's research program
