Position Summary:

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide patient care, as well as to provide osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) at Research Park and additional UW clinic(s). This position will also be involved in clinical teaching of medical students and other learners.

Principal Duties:

This position will consist of 50% provision of clinical care for patients at a UW Health Family Medicine clinic(s), 30% OMT at Research Park, and 20% OMT at other UW Health clinic(s). The split in duties for this position will be based on operational needs and candidate preference. This position will also include teaching medical students and other learners. Participation in departmental meetings and other duties as they relate to this position.

The preferred candidate will either have experience teaching and working with a diverse population, or will welcome a commitment to teaching and working with a diverse population.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD required (preference for MD degree completion of a program with osteopathic recognition)
Family Medicine

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Successful completion of a fully accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin medical licensure required prior to start date.
Board Certified or Board Eligible for certification by American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
