The Goodwin University Marketing & Communications team is looking for someone who is super detail oriented, organized, and can keep our projects on schedule. You will hold a special role as being the gate keeper for projects requests. In this role, you will handle departmental invoicing and purchase orders for our enrollment and marketing needs. You must be a strong communicator that is able to collaborate well with others as well as work independently.

Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

  • Manages intake of project request forms
  • Informs M&C management of project requests at daily morning meetings
  • Responsible for departmental invoicing and purchase orders
  • Delegates tasks/projects to team members based on availability and timeliness of the project request
  • Maintains a production schedule and follows up with all parties on deadlines, schedules check-ins, etc.
  • Represents the department at meetings with stakeholders and takes notes
  • Schedules meetings for team members as necessary
  • Gets the mail in the main building
  • Manages supply purchasing and distribution, vendor pick-ups, and deliveries
  • Handles departmental facilities requests
  • Maintains organized file system for photos and other digital assets
  • Updates University email lists as necessary
Other Functions :
  • Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates.
  • Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.
  • Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.

  • Ability to see a project through from start to finish
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to manage and track expenses
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate needs and workflow

Minimum Required Qualifications :

Education, Training and Experience :
  • Associate degree or higher in related field and one year of relevant work experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Familiarity with MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with setting up virtual meetings via Zoom and Microsoft Teams preferred
  • Familiarity with Constant Contact and Asana preferred

  • Valid Driver’s license and insured vehicle.
