Associate or Full Professor in Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst (see https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/programs/depts/marketing) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of associate or full professor with expertise in any area of marketing, and a strong commitment to research, teaching, and being part of a collaborative community. Applicants should have research, teaching, and service records sufficient to merit appointment at the appropriate rank.  The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2022.

 

Candidates are required to have the following:

  • D. in marketing or a related field. 
  • Active research program, successful publication in top-tier journals, and a reputation for research excellence.
  • Interest in advising and mentoring doctoral students.
  • Ideal candidates will have
    • 1) Experience advising and mentoring doctoral students;
    • 2) A commitment to, and record of, teaching excellence at the bachelor and/or master’s levels;
    • 3) Strong desire and ability to make positive contributions to the Marketing Department, Isenberg School, and UMass communities;
    • 4) Skills, perspectives, problem focus, and energy that enhance the Department’s reputation.
