The Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University invites applications for a non-tenure-earning Assistant Instructional Professor of International Business. The normal teaching load for this nine-month position is four classes per semester with an additional summer teaching contract generally available. The successful candidate will also coordinate the multi-disciplinary BBA program in International Business. These duties include advising of International Business majors, recruiting of majors, and scheduling of international business classes.

A strong preference will be given to applicants holding a Master’s degree in International Business or an MBA with an international emphasis. Applicants with a Master’s degree in a closely related field relevant to the mission of the Kelce College will also be given consideration. At least three years of professional experience working with international customers, companies, or organizations OR three years of teaching in higher education is required.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and student success. Teaching responsibilities will include international business courses at the undergraduate level and, depending on qualifications, at the graduate level. Courses are taught across multiple modalities (face-to-face and online). As a full-time faculty member, the successful candidate will provide service to the university, college and community.
