A PhD in Clinical Psychology. Position Summary
The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia ( www.uga.edu/psychology ) is seeking to fill two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Clinical Psychology beginning fall 2022.
It is likely that one hire will focus more on adults and the other will focus more on children.

Our clinical program has a clinical science model and we are accredited by APA and the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System ( PCSAS ). Successful applicants will join a nationally prominent and productive clinical research faculty and a department interested in promoting the careers of junior faculty. Collaboration with faculty in our other doctoral programs is encouraged. Established collaborative associations with the Owens Institute for Behavioral Research, the Institute of Gerontology, the Bioimaging Research Center, and the Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute offer excellent research development opportunities. Preference will be given to applicants who are licensed or license eligible to practice psychology in Georgia. Competitive candidates will have an established and strong record of research with potential for external funding and be prepared to contribute to the instructional mission of the department and clinical program at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
