The Mechanical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo is seeking to fill several academic year, tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in the following areas: One position in Thermal/Fluids, two positions in Dynamic Systems and two positions in Mechanical Design. All appointments to begin September 12, 2022. Our 50+ tenured, tenure-track, and lecturer/adjunct faculty are dedicated engineers with a passion for teaching, innovative applied research, interacting with students, and advising student club activities.  In addition to nearly a dozen teaching laboratory spaces, our student's education and extra-curricular activities are further enhanced by having direct access to state-of-the-art machine shop facilities.
