 Assistant Professor – Biology (Physiology)

The Department of Biology, Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track position at an assistant professor level in Vertebrate Physiology beginning August, 2022. 

The successful candidate will be expected to teach 9 contact hours per semester (3 lecture or lab sections) primarily in Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Medical Terminology. The ability to teach Nutrition or Exercise Physiology courses is considered an asset. Faculty are expected to develop an active and sustainable research program with undergraduate students. Advising students and service to the department and college are also expected. 

Applicants should hold (or be near completion of) a Ph.D. in the Vertebrate Physiology, or a closely-related field, and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
