The Krannert School of Management (http://www.krannert.purdue.edu/) at Purdue University invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. This position is expected to begin August 2022.

Qualifications include:

  • Applicants must have a Ph.D. completed or near completion in Human Resource Management (HR), Organizational Behavior (OB), or related field.
  • Ability to work in a collegial atmosphere as part of a team.
  • Strong evidence of teaching excellence in OB, HR, or related fields as evidenced by student evaluations and teaching awards.

We will begin reviewing applications immediately and will continue until April 30, 2022 or until we fill the position, whichever occurs earlier. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 24 credit hours of HR or OB courses in our undergraduate and/or graduate programs, and participate in other relevant school activities. Although we are open to broad teaching interests, candidates with an HR Analytics background are especially encouraged to apply. We also particularly welcome applications from those with prior HR and/or general management experience, as well as online teaching experience.

Please apply online at: https://career8.successfactors.com/sfcareer/jobreqcareer?jobId=16585&company=purdueuniv

Applications should include:

  • Letter of application addressing why you are interested in the Krannert School of Management.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Statement of teaching interests and philosophy (please list courses you have taught or would prefer to teach).
  • Teaching performance (include teaching evaluations if available, for all courses taught from 2018-present).
  • Candidates should submit a diversity and inclusion statement. Purdue University's Krannert School of Management is committed to advancing diversity in all areas of faculty effort, including scholarship, instruction, and engagement. Candidates should address at least one of these areas in a separate Diversity and Inclusion Statement, indicating their past experiences, current interests or activities, and/or future goals to promote a climate that values diversity and inclusion.
  • Three letters of reference. Please note that we will solicit these from candidates who remain under consideration later in our process.  We will furnish instructions at that time.

A background check will be required for employment in this position.
