Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Swimming Coach and Director of Aquatics in the Fitness Center.

The candidate would be expected to: develop and maintain operation procedures for the Steadman Natatorium; maintain pool maintenance records and lifeguard certification records; hire, schedule and supervise lifeguards. Duties as assistant swimming coach include: recruitment, scheduling, coaching, academic responsibilities or other activities as directed by the head coach.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree, Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Required Years of Experience: 2

Other Requirements:
Certification as an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard Management, Water Safety Instructor and Certified Pool Operator or obtain within six months of hire date.

CPR and American Red Cross Lifeguard certified within two months of hire date.
