Department: Enrollment Management

Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Communication Specialist in the Enrollment Management department.

The candidate would be expected to: review, revise and develop e-communication for targeted populations as well as for specific programs, as well as the Admission letter series for each stage of the enrollment funnel at both the undergraduate and graduate level; write and execute admission-related content to support the various marketing and communication plans and platforms managed by Enrollment Management; assist in the development of recruitment and marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, packets and other supporting documents, as well as the development of content on the University website; work closely with undergraduate and graduate admissions team, internal Marketing and Communications team, and the University's external media agency to develop effective communication templates and outreach efforts.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment, Basic Knowledge of MS Word 2013, Basic Knowledge of MS Excel 2013

Other Requirements:
One year of marketing or communication experience in an equivalent or comparable position.

Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint 2013. Must be an excellent communicator with strong copy writing skills. Ability to plan, organize and set priorities. Must be able to function independently.
