Williams College is enthusiastically accepting applications for the International and Parent Giving Coordinator in Development. Working primarily as part of a lively team comprising the Director of Parent and International Giving and Director of the Parents Fund and Athletics Giving, the coordinator will also collaborate with other colleagues in the Office of College Relations This position is vital to the important work of engaging parent and international donors and securing their support for the college. Responsibilities
  • Work with your team to set the department’s goals and then support the team to achieve them.
  • Create print and electronic solicitations and stewardship materials.
  • Keep database current
  • Support the volunteer-driven Parents Fund Committee
  • Coordinate special events on and off campus and virtual activities
  • Arrange domestic and international travel for your team
  • Reconcile credit cards, travel reimbursements and invoices
  • Create and track the department budget
  • Track and replenish inventory
  • Supervise student workers
  • Share occasional support duties with other OCR colleagues
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or a minimum of 3 years of office management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective, enjoyable relationships internally and externally
  • Accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality are vital.
  • Event planning, customer service, and excellent communication, including accurate proofreading, is essential
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to work successfully with people of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Strong multitasker with excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm for working with a range of technology systems and platforms
This is a full time (40hrs/wk.), year-round, regular appointment.
