Position Summary:

The candidate will be a member of the Housing and Residence Life team and have responsibilities focused on desk operations, mailroom operations, and general activities in support of and implementation of the mission and vision of Housing and Residence Life. A successful individual would be detail-oriented, customer-focused, analytical, and team-focused.

This position reports to the Operations Manager for Housing and Residence Life. This position supervises Desk Assistant Supervisors and an additional 150+ student employees. Responsibilities associated with the Desk Operations Manager position include oversight of 24-hour desk operations, mailroom services for students, oversight of HRL meeting and event spaces, and serve as an administrator for software utilized in desk operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
One year of experience supervising and leading staff.
One year of customer services experience
Strong written communication skills.
Proven success at maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to cultivate relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Educations, Business, or related field.
Must be able to demonstrate previous experience handling multiple tasks/projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of performance.
Strong analytical skills.
Effective organizational skills.
Experience creating and facilitating staff training.
