Senior Programmer Analyst



Position Summary: This position is responsible for programming, system administration, and related activities including analysis, development, design, testing, implementation, trouble shooting, and product support for the CRM and ERP systems and other third-party system enhancements. Position may be required to work on-call hours (after regular work hours, weekends, holidays) occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:

1. Experience programming with business applications (three years minimum) in an enterprise IT environment.
2. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills, with the ability to drive an issue to resolution; articulated ability to solve complex problems.
3. Experience with self-directed learning and with systems analysis, design, and requirements gathering (3 years minimum); also, working knowledge of the software development life cycle.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills, with experience communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
5. Due to the nature of this position applicant must be either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will
bring many of the following:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience; preferred field of study - MIS, Computer Science, or Business Administration
2. Two years of direct work experience in Salesforce, including as a Salesforce application admin or developer.
3. Two years experience programming in a production environment with complex relational data structures, such as SQL, PL/SQL, SOQL, or similar syntactical language.
4. Experience with the following: Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS), Oracle database technology, Git or other source control application, Visualforce, APEX, UNIX, writing shell scripts, or writing user documentation.
5. Experience programming with the Ellucian Banner ERP system, including providing direct end user support, or experience in the higher education environment.
