Description:
Columbia, Missouri Day Campus seeks an Adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach ourARTS 403: 20thCentury Art Historycourse in the Spring 2022 semester, beginning January 10 and ending April 29.

This course covers the artwork produced in Europe and the United States between 1900-1945, and its manifestation in the present day. Students will examine the meanings and styles of art works created during these periods. Major topics include: concept of modernism, post-impressionism in France and America, cubism, German expressionism, the Armory Show, NYC, surrealism, Italian futurism, regionalism in America, abstract-expressionism, art of the 1960’s, and post-modern art.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Art History, or closely related field. Collegiate experience teaching upper-level art history courses is also preferred. Please include a CV and unofficial graduate transcript with your application materials.
