Clemson University's College of Education invites applications for a Lecturer position in the Teaching & Learning Department. This position will support the Elementary Education and Teacher Residency program areas, along with other programs in the department. This nine-month, full-time, non tenure-track position begins August 2022. Lecturers are eligible for promotion to senior lecturer or principal lecturer. All faculty are expected to participate in service activities at the department, college, and university level related to the College of Education's mission to enhance the education of all students, particularly those in underserved communities. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field, conferred by August 15th, 2022; Minimum three years teaching experience in a PK-12 school setting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in two or more of the following areas of study: English Language Arts, Social Studies, Social Justice, Cultural Diversity, Historical and Sociocultural Foundations, and the Arts. Special consideration will be given to candidates who focus on elementary preservice teacher preparation.
