Position Summary
The Lundquist College of Business Admissions Office is seeking a Graduate Recruiter to, under the direction of the Executive Director Admissions, interface with potential students through the selection and admission process of the program. This position holds the following major responsibilities: develop and generate student leads for Lundquist graduate programs through various venues (including face to face, phone, online, and on and off-campus events) and provide counseling on program attributes.

The Graduate Recruiter will participate in the admission and application process by conducting interviews and reviewing application materials. They will have a thorough understanding of the admission requirements in order to render an admission decision and/or scholarship award. The Graduate Recruiter will have the responsibility to monitor application progress from start to completion and to assist in identifying and resolving issues along the way. They will review and evaluate data throughout the admission process to provide weekly, monthly and yearly reporting. They will be responsible for conducting meetings with key stakeholders, coordinating and assisting in the creation of communications to new student leads, prospective students and admitted students, resolving problems as needed.

This position requires extensive domestic and occasional international travel to recruiting events, frequently held evenings and weekends. When not traveling or working events, office hours are 8:00AM-5:00 PM, Mon-Fri.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of recruitment, admission or sales experience and events, including event facilitation

    Professional Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with prospective students from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills (including designing promotional presentation materials and giving public presentations).
  • Knowledge of international student perspectives and needs.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in recruitment/admissions at a college or university level.
    * Demonstrated experience planning and directing promotion activities.
  • Demonstrated experience using technology for creating reports to make decisions, preparing communications, record keeping, and management of data.
