Position Description

The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position based out of Harborview Medical Center (HMC).  This position will be at the Research Assistant Professor level (non-tenure eligible).  This position would have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30].  The anticipated start date would be April 1, 2022.

This position would have research responsibilities at HMC.  This position would primarily involve work with existing faculty in the area of Alzheimer’s Disease, such as cognitively-defined Alzheimer’s disease subgroups.  University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.

Qualifications

Requirements include a Ph.D. degree or foreign equivalent.

Eligible candidates must have a demonstrated track record of funding and evidence of scholarly productivity and publications.
