The UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health seeks
candidates for Associate Director of the Master of Public Health
(MPH) Program. Accredited by the Council for Education on Public
Health, the MPH program provides an interprofessional,
practice-oriented approach for those who want to strengthen their
general knowledge and skills in public health. Students in the
program choose to pursue the MPH degree exclusively or as part of
one of many dual degree programs.
The Associate Director provides program leadership in collaboration
with the Director of the MPH Program and associated committees;
facilitates bringing teams of diverse faculty, staff, learners, and
community members together to address goals related to public
health, the curriculum, and MPH program operations; manages a
budget and a team of an energetic and skilled staff to achieve
programmatic goals; prepares reports and gives presentations to
internal and external audiences; represents the program on campus
and outside committees, and engages in continuous quality
improvement initiatives to improve MPH program policies and
