The Clinical Research Nurse will join the Clinical Research Central
Office (CRCO) at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center
(UWCCC) to coordinate cancer clinical research within one or more
Disease-Oriented Teams. The primary duties of this job involve the
management of subjects enrolled in clinical research studies at the
UW Carbone Cancer Center. This position will report to the Clinical
Team Manager and work under the general direction of the Principal
Investigator of each research study.
The Clinical Research Nurse must have a high degree of clinical
expertise with a specific focus on the treatment of patients with
anticancer agents and a specialized nursing competence in the field
of Oncology Research.

- Minimum one year nursing experience.
- Candidates should have exceptional clinical nursing skills and
expertise coupled with a strong interest in clinical

- Prior clinical research experience preferred, particularly
specialized nursing competence in the field of Oncology

-TB testing and a Caregiver Background Check will be required at
the time of employment. This position has been identified as a
position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The
selected candidate will be required to pass an initial Caregiver
Check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver
Law and then every four years.

This position requires some work to be performed in-person, onsite,
at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed
remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
