The Associate Vice Chancellor of Program Implementation provides leadership and support to new and existing programs, projects and initiatives across both domestic and global departments of Education Innovation, to enhance and advance education and experiential learning. The AVC of Program and Product Implementation will work with the Senior Vice Chancellor to enrich the educational experience at Northeastern University through the integration of excellence in teaching and learning with high quality learning design into the impact of experiential learning across domestic and global programs to inform the complete student learning experience. With a particular emphasis on integration of global, curricular and experiential learning opportunities, the AVC of Program and Product Implementation will work with existing and new programs to implement learning experiences consistent with the mission of Northeastern to have impact in the world.

The AVC of Program and Product Implementation joins a team that is dedicated to creating a culture of Global Educational Innovation. The AVC of Program and Product Implementation collaborates with internal Education Innovation leaders, departmental directors and with designated network partners to ensure continuous improvement and advancement of current operations within the larger context of the university's priorities to maximize impact, scale, and customer service. The AVC of Program and Product sits across both domestic and global programs, with responsibility for launch of new programs and products within Education Innovation and for the refinement cycle of product development. The AVC of Program and Product Implementation serves as a thought partner, strategist, and workstream leader to achieve targeted outcomes and meet university goals.

The AVC of Program and Product Implementation provides subject matter expertise in curricular development, learner supports and academic operations at scale, the current and future state of higher education, and catalytic creativity to the conceptual, design and implementation phases of innovation work. The AVC of Program and Product Implementation contributes within the product development and implementation cycle by providing both strategic and subject-matter expertise with regards to competency-based and personalized learning models, scaled learning supports, and regulatory environment. The AVC of Program and Product Implementation will lead the innovation phases of product launch and refinement cycle with particular attention to existing programs and products. The AVC of Program and Product Implementation will be responsible for setting the optimization agenda and timelines, writing or co-creating launch, scale, and feedback strategies, articulating both short- and long-term goals, including program lifecycle models and associated recommendations on organizational fit.

Furthermore, the AVC of Program and Product Implementation will require close and collaborative working relationships with colleges and regional campus and other departments including ITS, EDGE, Enrollment Management, student groups and vendors. The position is expected to stay up to date on trends and developments in the field and regularly interacts with and sources knowledge from research publications, professional associations, and colleagues in the field.

Specific Responsibilities:
Develop an optimization framework in alignment with experiential learning pillars, University Academic Plan and Chancellor goals, deliver revised, scalable learner support models that increase academic engagement satisfaction levels across the Education Innovation program and product portfolio.
Design and deliver an interoperable learning exchange, driven by modularity, to enable global and mobile efforts to scale both size and impact.
Lead continuous improvement efforts with existing teams across all Education Innovation programs.

|Masters required, Ph.D./Ed.D. preferred, in a field closely aligned with experiential learning |At least 10 years of experience in building and manage large teams and budgets to deliver innovative and high quality learning experiences| Demonstrated experience in building competency-based and personalized learning supports at scale| leading innovation organizations or teams with clear outcomes |Demonstrated ability to establish and pursue a successful innovation agenda |Strong communication skills with the ability to write, speak, and present effectively to a wide variety of audiences including executives |Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to use sound judgment to make decisions and resolve problems diplomatically |Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan and successfully execute multiple projects with conflicting priorities and concurrent deadlines in a dynamic environment |Ability to forge collaborative relationships with peers and to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels
