The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and the faculty of
Mathematics and Computer Science invite applications for a
non-tenure track position as Lecturer of
Mathematics. The position will begin in Fall 2022.
DEPARTMENT: College of Arts &
Sciences CLASSIFICATION: Faculty
REPORTS TO: Department Chair and Dean
of the College of Arts and Sciences
SALARY RANGE: Salary Competitive
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lecturer
of Mathematics is required to teach five (5) sections per term in
courses such as Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, and
others as needed. A completed application is

Other courses may be taught in addition, depending on interests and experience. 5. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Section 51.125 of the Texas Education Code. A criminal background check will be conducted prior to employment.
