The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications from qualified professionals to join our part-time lecturer pool for the following divisions: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry

Assignments are available beginning with the spring 2022 semester.

The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department is part of the College of Science, which serves approximately 4,400 undergraduate and graduate students and provides service courses for programs throughout the university.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in appropriate discipline (to teach lower division courses)

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse student and community populations

Preferred qualifications:

- Ph.D. in appropriate discipline (required to teach upper division courses)

- Teaching and/or industry experience
