Purpose of Position
The Haile College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management position. The expected start date for the position is August 2022.

Candidates from all research areas in Human Resource Management are welcome to apply. Current teaching needs include courses in fundamentals of HR, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, and human resource management strategy (capstone), in addition to other management courses.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or DBA in Human Resource Management from an AACSB -accredited program. ABDs with evidence of imminent completion of their degree will also be considered. Those holding a Ph.D. or DBA in another closely-related management field may also be considered. Expectations for the successful candidate include: Will teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of Human Resource Management; will teach both in the classroom and/or online; will have the ability to publish quality peer-reviewed academic research; a willingness to participate in engaged service; and, a commitment and sensitivity to fostering a working and learning environment which is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds with a team of faculty and staff that contributes to the collegiality of the department and college.
