Schedule Information: Monday-Friday. At least one evenings
per week required. Some weekends as necessary.
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours

Work Conditions: Must occasionally lift boxes of materials

Duties of Position:
Responsible for outreach activities aimed at recruiting individuals
to enroll at Harper College.
Meet recruitment objectives and assist in the enrollment goals as
established by Harper College, the Director of Outreach and the
Integrate and explain policies and procedures of all areas of
enrollment services and other closely related areas to all new
students. Be able to anticipate students' needs by considering all
aspects of the enrollment cycle. This position will be providing

Satisfactory Academic Progress standards policy and appeal
Applies an in depth knowledge to explain administrative and
compliance requirements for federal, state and institutional aid
Assists students in understanding their financial obligations and
educating them on how Harper College, federal, state and third
party resources can provide assistance.
Utilizes critical thinking, problem solving and experience with
student issues to be proactive in addressing potential student
concerns, identifying potential barriers within the student
enrollment process and initiating steps resulting in
Makes referrals to faculty, counselors, program coordinators,
campus support services, or other resources as needed.
Collaborates closely with key Harper College departments including
the Academic Affairs, Admissions Processing, Counseling, Onestop
and Financial Aid to assure effective student enrollment
Participates and attends all scheduled events. Provides post
information session report within 24 hours of event
Reviews and provides feedback to Admissions Manager and Marketing
Services on all pertinent promotional material and
Provides critical summary reports on all activities including
student inquiries, applications, information meetings and event
Serves on appropriate College committees.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business,
Communication or related field required.
Experience Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in
educational recruiting or sales. Ability to manage multiple
priorities and attention to detail essential. Must possess strong
presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills.
