Position Summary:
The Enrollment Data & Reporting Specialist manages data reporting and visualization for the Enrollment Division, comprising admission, financial aid, student accounts, and communications. They work closely with teams across the enrollment division to develop and maintain reporting capabilities specific to each team. In addition, they work with a team in the Office of Admission to manage data integrity and accuracy. They maintain expert technical knowledge of enrollment data, data standards, and query/reporting tools in the admission CRM (Technolutions Slate), the university's student information system (PeopleSoft), and other reporting tools like Tableau. The Enrollment Data & Reporting Specialist reports to the Director of Admission Operations and supports enrollment division leaders with timely and accurate reports.
This individual works as part of a team to support the Enrollment Division's objectives to recruit a diverse and talented pool of admission applicants and to meet the freshman, transfer, and graduate enrollment goals of the University of Puget Sound.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain enrollment and financial reports for the
division and campus partners using tools such as the admission CRM
(Technolutions Slate), the university's student information system
(PeopleSoft), and the university's data visualization tool
(Tableau).
Serve as the lead in
implementing and maintaining new technology tools to enhance data
reporting and visualization.
Conduct training with
enrollment division staff on writing and using queries and reports
in various systems.
Generate data sets for
campus partners and vendors.
Provide support to
enrollment leaders and institutional research for completing data
requests for external reporting entities.
Collaborate with the
admission data team to regularly audit data and develop business
processes for improving data integrity.
Document data standards
and business processes, including the admission data dictionary,
data integrity/accuracy measures, and the annual data sharing
calendar.
Ability to respectfully work, communicate

Perform related duties as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Experience with SQL and
Microsoft Office.
Experience with
enrollment and reporting software such as Technolutions Slate,
PeopleSoft/Oracle, and Tableau is preferred.
Ability to analyze,
interpret and communicate complex data.
Demonstrated writing
skills.

Compensation and Benefits: Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
The range for this position is $21.15 per hour to $25.96 per hour depending on experience, internal equity and market considerations.
