The Department of Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine is seeking to hire up to two outstanding clinical neurologists to work with general neurology patients at the University of Washington Medical Center. This is a full-time, 12-month service (July 1- June 30) period appointment at the Assistant Professor (without tenure due to funding) rank. 

These individuals will be a members of a busy academic service performing a variety of clinical duties including outpatient clinical care at the UW Neurology Clinic and general neurology inpatient attending at UWMC and/or Harborview Medical Center. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

The anticipated start date for these positions is July 1, 2022.


Requires an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.

Candidates must be either board eligible or board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services
