Job Summary

The Department of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) at Drexel University invites applications for adjunct appointments to teach courses in core materials science and engineering undergraduate and graduate level. Courses will include but are not limited to:
  • MATE 245 – Kinetics of Materials (in-person a must)
  • MATE 507 – Kinetics (potential for remote delivery, in-person is preferred)
  • MATE 580 – Metallurgical Additive Manufacturing (potential for remote delivery, in-person is preferred)
Essential Functions
  • Giving lectures
  • Scheduling office hours
  • Evaluating student performance
  • Submission of grades
Required Qualifications
  • PhD, in Materials Science and Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years in experience in industry preferred but not required
